Today the presentation of literary works “The Call”, “The Torn Time”, “The Interruption” by the great Armenian actor, People’s Artist of the USSR Sos Sargsyan took place at Tekeyan Centre. Many writers, art critics, actors and honourable guests were present at the event and welcomed “the talented cultural, literary and theatrical phenomenon” in the person of Sos Sargsyan.
The great artist does not consider himself as a writer; through his works he just shares his thoughts and philosophical ideas and speaks of the time he lived.
The writer urges his beloved people to stop and to understand how to continue. He calls them to unity. He wishes his motherland to be turned into a paradise. He doesn’t want his nation to be indifferent to culture.
Sos Sargsyan’s works describe various episodes and aspects of life; they touch on love, friendship, culture, patriotism, as well as the Diaspora.
Levon Ananyan, the Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Armenia, considers “The Call” as an important experience of a philosopher of the 20th century. Such an experience serves as lessons for future generations and a compass in chaos.

For his great contribution to the Armenian culture Sos Sargsyan was awarded an honourary membership of the Writers’ Union of Armenia.
The book presentation was organized by the National Library, “Lorva Dzor” Compatriotic Union and the Fund “Pyunik”.
