The Tekeyan Centre Fund

in cooperation with Yerevan Municipality, Yerevan History Museum, the RA Ministry of Culture, NKR Ministry of Culture and “The Museums of Shushi”

presents

«Freedom Has No Alternative – Independence»

the exhibition of contemporary paintings and sculptures authored by young artists from Karabakh.

The exhibition commemorates the victims and heroes of Karabakh April War.

The exhibition will remain open at Yerevan History Museum till April 17, 2017.

 

Fifty-four paintings by Samvel Tavadyan, Gayane Shushetsi, Armine Avagimyan, Zarine Babayan, David Avagimyan, Mary Musayelyan, Michael Danielyan and seven sculptures by David Sargsyan and Hayk Hakobyan are exposed.

Present at the opening of the exhibition were the RA Deputy Minister of Culture Arev Samuelyan, Yerevan Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan,  head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yerevan Municipality Ruben Hovhannisyan, Director of Yerevan History Museum Armine Sargsyan, Director of the Tekeyan Centre Fund Armen Tsulikyan, Director of "Museums of Shushi" Lusine Gasparyan, Father Shahe Hayrapetyan of St. Sarkis Church, Director of the Archives and Museum of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Father Asoghik Karapetyan, guests from Karabakh, artists, art critics, and art lovers.
